Berks Opera Company fosters and promotes the operatic art through
musical education and performances, creating an innovative experience for students of the arts, professionals and the community, and increasing the diversity of available cultural experiences.
To educate and promote operatic art to Berks County and the surrounding communities.
Since its inception in 2007, Berks Opera Company has grown into a regional company committed to finding current cultural relevance in standard opera repertoire. We presently offer our "BOAST" young artist programs for local singers and feature internationally acclaimed artists in main stage productions, presenting opera on a sustainable basis. Additionally, we have an innovative "BOOT Camp" youth orchestra training program, the Unleashing Your Inner Opera Fan multimedia educational series, and regular appearances at smaller venues in Berks County.
