Since its premiere on NBC TV on Christmas Eve, 1951, as the very first Hallmark Hall of Fame special, Amahl and the Night Visitors, has become an essential holiday classic. Performed all over the world, it has been seen by more people than any other opera.  It’s the story of a disabled boy, living alone with his mother in Palestine. He is fond of tall tales, so when says an amazing star is overhead, she is skeptical.  But when three kings arrive, journeying with precious gifts for a wondrous child, miracles happen.

Berks Opera presents this heartwarming story for children of all ages in collaboration with OperaLancaster, starring Tamara Black, Tom Cozzoli, Kevin Durkin, Christyan Seay and Berks Youth Chorus member, Eoin Morris, as the boy, Amahl.
